There are also some demo tracks from the 'Mark II' version of the band, which are a lot less slick than the versions that ended up on 'Bringing Home the Ashes'. The main draw of this compilation are the tracks from the short-lived 'Mark I' version of the band, which include the famous single, radio sessions, and live tracks. They released one single on Zoo before disbanding, then later regrouping in the mid/late 80s. The Wild Swans were an 80s guitar pop group formed by Paul Simpson, a former member of the Teardrop Explodes.
